![]() We went on a Saturday night and parked in the lot across the street (pay via park mobile). Like I said, the food was great, but the kitchen can’t do it all. I took a friend who was visiting from NYC and was a little embarrassed that this was the experience I gave him. They didn’t even bother to say have a good night. When we left, the front of house staff was sitting at a table together talking. There was a giant trash bag on the floor under the sink with a ton of dirty paper towels piled up. We were also seated near the kitchen and a lot of the staff were clowning around in the kitchen and texting on their phones. When our cocktail ran out, we were asked if we wanted more water…not if we wanted another cocktail or coffee. They wanted us to use our appetizer plates for our shared entree. We were then told we had to wait for a table (we had a reservation) when there were about 10 open two top tables. From the moment we walked in the door, it was as if we were an inconvenience to the front of house. and also in between!įood was great (mushroom toast, heirloom salad, pork belly & NY Strip). With hundreds of restaurant options for our anniversary, we have been to Fig Tree the last two years. We haven't been out to eat as much during this Covid season, and dining at the Fig Tree reminded us of what we really value and enjoy: outstanding food and outstanding service. ![]() ![]() I pay particular attention to service, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the timing and attention of the entire staff. The cheese plate was a great start, the entrees were delicious, and the cheesecake and beignets with "Happy Anniversary!" on them were a perfect ending. Quite simply, it was one of the best meals we've ever had. I called back and rescheduled for the next night, and again, they couldn't have been any nicer and accommodating on the phone. First of all, I had to cancel our first reservation 30 minutes prior to when we were to arrive, and the staff couldn't have been nicer about it on the phone. From start to finish, it was a wonderful meal and dining experience. My wife and I went to Fig Tree for our anniversary this past weekend.
